By accessing or using www.sarahselfish.com (the “Site”), you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
1. Use of This Website
This Site is operated by Sarah Selfish, LLC and is intended to provide information about DJ services, allow booking inquiries, and facilitate secure payments. You agree to use this Site lawfully and only for its intended purpose.
2. Booking & Payment Terms
All DJ services are provided under a formal agreement between Sarah Selfish, LLC and the Client. Booking requires a deposit and is confirmed only upon receipt of payment. Full payment is due 14 days before the event. Failure to pay the full balance on time may result in cancellation of services without refund.
Deposits are:
100% refundable within 5 days of signing the contract.
Transferable to a new event date (pending availability) within 12 months of cancellation.
For travel over 400 miles round trip, the Client is responsible for covering flight, lodging (minimum 4-star or $200/night), transportation, and sound requirements.
3. Event Expectations
The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue provides adequate electrical power and weather protection for equipment. In the event of threats or unsafe conditions, the DJ reserves the right to stop performing without refund. Any damage caused to the DJ’s equipment due to venue conditions or guest behavior will be billed to the Client.
4. Content Ownership
Any photos or videos captured by Sarah Selfish, LLC during events may be used for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media. Clients do not hold rights to this content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Performance
Sarah Selfish, LLC will assign a qualified DJ to your event. If your preferred DJ becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a replacement will be provided without grounds for cancellation or refund.
6. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with North Carolina law.
